James Ying - CEO

Born in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, Jun “James” Ying majored in Finance at California State University of Northridge, before grounding Evergreat Industrial Inc. in 2004 as a platform for international trade between China and the States.  As CEO, Ying represented the world’s largest steel mill, Bao Steel, in the bankruptcy purchase of Geneva Steel’s defunct Utah mill. Once finalized with Geneva’s Board, he contracted demolition, then rail and freighter shipment of over a half million tons of scrap metal to Shanghai.

Recognizing a need for a Mobile-POS system, Ying brought Exadigm Inc., a US company, into China, generating broad interest that led to extended negotiations with the China Bank Union, and though research revealed electronic platform incompatibility for full scale integration, he determined that the technology could function in a closed system. Evergreat then approached Chinese Taxi company, which licensed the system. Because of the system’s sterling success, Evergreat  still consults China Bank Union on every next generation of electronic platform and protocols.

In 2008, Evergreat became Sinosun International Group, providing worldwide sourcing and oversight of joint ventures on energy and raw materials for major Chinese companies, such as Shan Dong Ocean Chemical Import & Export, China Power Petrochemical, and China Coal Group. Sinosun consulted for the Mayor of Hangzhou to develop a proposal to build and finance a public subway project. Sinosun then represented it to Australia’s Challenger Investor Fund for a USD 1.5 billion investment. In 2010, Jun Ying formed Lexell Inc. to manufacture and market LED lighting products. Customers include Sony, Kingston, Siemens, UOB Bank, and many government contracts, including a contract for over one million LED lights for a Suzhou subway project.

In 2013, Ying partnered with Peter SteenOlsen and they founded Aurolux to exploit the three biggest needs of the Chinese people and their government; Clean Energy Technology, Environmental Remediation, and International Cultural Development.

Peter John SteenOlsen - COO

After growing up around the business of the entertainment industry, SteenOlsen conceived, wrote and produced the 35mm film, Frame by Frame, which ultimately featured Charlie Sheen, D.B. Sweeney, Martin Landau, Jon Rhys-Davis, and Max Gail. By 1990, (prior to Operation Desert Sheild) the Cronenweth Brothers and he produced an orientation film for the U.S. Army’s National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, and a multitude of commercials and PSAs for companies such as: Porsche, North America; Big Brothers of America; and The American Red Cross.

Creativity, like innovation, holds little value without a solid business foundation. Recognizing this, he became more involved in finance and distribution. His ability to create and present projects would lead to opportunities far beyond show business.

In 1992, he produced a charity event in Prague to benefit the victims of coal fired power plants in the north of then Czechoslovakia. The success of the event allowed him to consult on a variety of business opportunities between the Czech Republic and the American market. This motivated him to producing documentaries, along with representing entertainment projects for distribution between the US and European markets.

By the millennium, he had produced Vincent Bugliosi’s award winning documentary: Absolutely 100% Guilty – The Five Reasons O.J. Simpson Got Away with Murder, where he worked closely with the author of Helter Skelter, and legal expert, known for being the sole prosecutor of Charles Manson. Interviews for this production included: Denise Brown, Dommick Dunne, Marc Fuhrman, Dennis Fung, Tom Lange, Faye Resnick, Phillip Vannatter, and Collin Yamauchi.

The next documentary he produced was about the technology and culture of TV’s Golden Age - The Desilu Story: a two-hour documentary TV Special for Bravo, that starred Bob Hope, Milton Berle, Sid Cesar, Van Johnson, Donald O’Connor, Whoopi Goldberg, Roseanne, Brooke Shields, Jenna Elfman, Carol Burnett, Penny Marshall, Aaron Spelling, Lily Tomlin, Eddie Albert, Robert Stack, Richard Crenna, Leonard Nimoy, Martin Landau, Anne Miller, Steve Allen, Gloria Stuart, and Phyllis Diller. A handson creative, he also worked onset as the first A.D. and U.P.M.

In 2007, SteenOlsen returned to central Europe to develop the complicated story of The Hunt for Nazi Treasures. He established the Czech non-profit War and Remembrance Foundation, alongside a former Czechoslovak Minister of Education and Army Cultural Affairs Attaché.

In 2010, he represented a New York Investment Bank owned patent for a plasma arc gasification waste to energy pilot plant in Slovakia to PlastyMat and Omnipack, two Slovak consortiums. While the engineers were overwhelmingly supportive of the technology, the government could not provide the necessary elements and guarantees for the project.

After returning to California, he was contacted by James Ying, a business associate, who asked him one question, “Do you know anything about microwave plasma gasification?” After reviewing his waste to energy project in China, SteenOlsen determined that almost all of the elements of the project were present and, once a business plan was written, and municipal tipping fees and power contracts were contracted, it could be presented to funding interests. Soon afterwards, Ying and SteenOlsen founded Aurolux.
